We are looking for an Assistant Site Manager at our Decatur, AL location.

Job Description: As an Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager to oversee daily operations, lead safety initiatives, and support continuous improvement efforts. This role includes supervisory responsibilities, equipment and facility oversight, and collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Site Manager to supervise the staff at the site including safety, maintenance and operations employees
  • Assists in coordinating the Safety/ISO Program
  • Assists with purchasing, maintenance administration, financial forecasting and other administrative tasks
  • Ensures site compliance to Company maintenance and safety programs
  • Responsible for the site operation when the Site Manager is not available

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Construction Mgmt. or related field required (suitable experience may replace degree requirement)
  • At least 3 years’ prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with processing plants in a rock quarry or slag processing plant is a plus
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operations including loaders and excavators helpful.
  • Experience administering a formal safety and maintenance program preferred
  • Prior experience working with a maintenance department is desirable
  • Must be computer literate and familiar with the Microsoft Office package including Excel spreadsheets.
